Please join us for a presentation by David Settlemyer (david.settlemyer@bentley.com) with Bentley Software to discuss OpenSite and how this solution has been used for over a decade by civil engineers and estimators to value land development projects to find lowest cost of construction to meet project requirements. There will be a live interactive demo done as part of the presentation. We will create a layout from just a location and then perform millions of earthwork grading scenarios by click of a button. Show resulting budgets and output files. Will also show how an estimator can take someone else’s CAD drawing and run through earthwork analysis to value engineer. Lastly, I will show some 3D visualization that can be used to get stakeholder buy-in on design and grading.
