Topic:   Champion Scholars - Ride & Decide Program


This program is designed to provides high school students ages 16-18 with the knowledge and skills to develop an exciting new career in construction. This course provides the basic skills required to work in the construction industry.  This includes Construction Safety,  CPR and First Aid, the Construction Core program as developed by the National Center for Construction Education and Research, and Tools for Success - instruction on employability. The ultimate goal is for students to explore a career as a skilled craftsman (electrician, carpenter, plumber, HVAC technician, etc.), job superintendent, project manager or construction business owner.
